Welcome! The Graduate Committee for Research on Women and Gender (GradCROW) is a student run organization at the University of Akron. We are committed to promoting feminist research, practice, and social justice. Both graduates and undergraduates are encouraged to join our interdisciplinary community.
Please stay tuned for details regarding our upcoming conference this April! The theme of the conference will be Feminist Scholarship and Practice in the 21st Century. We will soon be putting out a nationwide call for proposals that will include both panels and workshops. Our plan is to be able to offer a professional development certificate to attendees who attend workshops on feminist therapy, feminist methods, and feminist teaching.
