Other events

 

  • Thursday, November 7th from 5pm-8pm: Opening reception for photographer Susan Lopez's exhibition on Mexican Culture at  Akrona Galleries. Her work presents Mexican culture through pictures. Exhibition will be on display from 11/7 - 11/14.
  • If you are interested in doing a presentation about your country, culture or experiences for International Education Week please e-mail Jessica J. Guy (jguy@uakron.edu). She is the Coordinator for International Academic & Co-Curricular Programming at the Office of International Programs. This event will happen in about a month, around November 15, 2013.   • Every Friday 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Conversaciones en Español will take place every Friday during the fall semester @ Starbucks in the Student Union
